Our Statement of Purpose:
To create a total school environment in which opportunities are provided to facilitate maximum development of each child academically, socially and culturally through the provision of appropriate learning experiences supported by the co-operative effort of the total school community.
Our School:
Beerwah State School was opened in 1888 and has a proud tradition extending to over 116 years. The tree lined grounds are a distinctive feature of this school, located as it is on the outskirts of Beerwah in an area where the rural setting is beginning to mix with that of a more recent urban community. The Glass House Mountains form a striking background visible as you approach the school.
The campus consists of Primary Classes Prep to Year 7. We also have a Special Education Program and a Special Education Developmental Centre.
We strive to excel in everything we do and to demonstrate an enthusiastic caring approach. Each one of us is an integral part of the whole. We believe the Partnership between “home” and “school” is vital to the achievement of this vision and acknowledge the wonderful contribution of parents and the community. We welcome the involvement of parents and volunteers in our school.
Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be an Active Learner
