Our Kandoo learners are back together again and we are celebrating.
Arrangements for Health, Safety and Wellbeing
The transition of Prep pick up to Stop Drop Go has had lots of positive benefits in addition to meeting our operating guidelines for adult social distancing. The wonderful support of staff from the early years has helped Prep and Year One students to have a great transition to Stop Drop Go.
Staggered class time arrangements are as follows:
|Prep (8:35 to 2:35)||Years 1 - 2 (8:45 to 2:45)||Years 3 - 6 (8:55 to 2:55)|
Wherever possible parents/carers are asked to call ahead before coming to the school. In all instances parents/carers are asked to report to the school office unless other arrangements have been made with school staff.
Parade will take place on Tuesdays but students will be in their classrooms and parents will be invited by the class teacher for Student of the Week presentations.
There is a current Public Health Directive covering schools that unwell students should not be attending the school site. Schools will require parents/carers to collect unwell students.
It is recognised that some parents may choose to keep a student at home due to medical advice or concerns about COVID-19 and this is respected. On receipt of written confirmation of medical advice for students remaining at home, the school will be in contact with parents/carers to discuss support for continuity of learning at home. Where parents/carers choose to keep a student at home due to concern about COVID-19 there will be general advice published by the school.
