Beerwah State School Anzac AssemblyOn Monday, we held our school Anzac Ceremony in our school hall. Our student leaders Charlie Turner, Cameron Cook and Aila McIntyre displayed great leadership qualities running a very smooth ceremony. Thank you to Mr Deady for organising and rehearsing the students in week one. Thanks to those classes who created wreathes to lay at our Stone of remembrance after the ceremony.
Beerwah SS Anzac Day Community March/Ceremonies
On Tuesday morning, our students marched and participated in the Beerwah community ANZAC Day march and ceremony. Thank you to all those students who represented our school. Thank you to Charlie Turner for reading a special ANZAC poem in the ceremony and to Charlie Turner and Cameron Cook for laying a wreath in the ceremony. I would also like to thank Coralie Lillecrapp, Gayle Bismark, Karen Batson, Tania Cox. Megan Zakis and Matt Deady for giving up their time to supervise our students.
A big thank you to Charlie Turner, Mrs Philpot and Coralie Lillecrapp for representing our school at the Beerwah Dawn Service.
