On Tuesday, 9 February 2021, we will celebrate Safer Internet Day with actions taking place right across the globe.

Start a chat with your family and community about online safety this Safer Internet Day.

To help protect yourself online, you can manage your online reputation and use the digital footprint checklist to enhance your digital identity.

To mark the annual, worldwide Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 9 February, new research on the Digital Lives of Aussie Teens will be released to help schools support secondary students. Plus, online events include Be an eSafe kid: Fake news, real harms virtual classrooms for primary students and Cyberbullying and online drama webinars for parents and carers.

Find more information about Safer Internet Day 2021 from the eSafety Commissioner website, and check out the department’s cybersafety and reputation management resources.
