Our Library is centrally located in the Resource Centre within our bushland setting. This building comprises an extensive Library collection, Green Screen Studio, Multi-Purpose Educational room and Conference room.
Learning to read is the most important skill our students can learn at school, serving as the foundation of all academic skills.



Borrowing and Opening Times
Loans to students are for a 1 week period and can be extended for Fiction chapter books. They must bring their red folder or a folder that is waterproof.

Students can also borrow and exchange books at the following times:
- Lunchtime break - Wednesday & Thursday 1:00 to 1:30
- Mornings - Monday/ Wednesday/ Thursday 8:30 to 9:00

Extension Activities
Term 1
The Love of Series Challenge - Students are encouraged to share a series they have been reading and share it with their class in library time.
Term 2
The Premier’s Reading Challenge - May until August
Simultaneous Storytime - May
Book Fair - June
Term 3
Book Week – During August in the lead up to Book Week, teachers read a short-listed book and ask students to score the book out of 10. Students and staff are encouraged each year to dress-up in their favourite book character’s outfit.
Scholastic Bookclub - all year (run by the P&C)
